Vivo Y20A with 6.51 inch Halo iView display Launched in India
With 2020 coming to an end, Chinese smartphone Vivo has launched its budget phone Vivo Y20A with 6.51 inch in India. The device is priced at Rs 11,490 and will be available starting January 2, 2021, on Vivo’s E-Store, e-commerce websites, and other retail stores.
Vivo Y20A comes with a 6.51-inch Halo iView HD+ display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, a waterdrop style notch, and packs a 5,000 mAh lithium-ion battery, which the company claims to last for more than 17 hours of movie streaming online, and over 10 hours of gaming.
The phone’s battery pack is likely to be good for online content consumption, but it is yet to be seen whether it can run first-person shooter (FPS) games like Call of Duty Mobile and Garena Free Fire easily or not because Vivo still hadn’t mentioned the phone’s processor.
However, its elder sibling, Vivo Y20 was powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 processor, so Vivo Y20A is likely to get the same.

In India, Vivo Y20A comes with alone 3 GB + 64 GB storage models. The phone is available in two color options — Nebula Blue and Dawn White. Vivo Y20A gets internal storage expandable via a micro SD card slot.

On the camera front, the smartphone features an AI Triple Macro camera setup that gives enhanced picture capabilities and is supported by a good range of features that include Face Beauty and filters.
The most 13 MP camera with f/2.2 large aperture and PDAF technology to turn every detail into a master shot, the 2 MP camera boasts greater depth which delivers sophisticated results and therefore the Super Macro camera draws focus as close as 4 cms. The Vivo Y20A also offers an 8 MP camera for selfies and video chats.

The Y20 is the price is Rs 11,490 and is available in sole 3 GB + 64 GB configuration. It will be easily available across offline stores, Vivo e-store, and other major online retailers starting January 2, 2021. The device will be available in Nebula Blue and Dawn White color options.

Vivo says the Y20A has been manufactured at the company’s Greater Noida facility keeping the firm’s commitment to the ‘Make in India’ initiative.

Whereas, C15 features a quad camera setup on the back. It houses a 13MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP monochrome sensor, and a 2MP “retro” lens.
Meanwhile, the front cameras for Vivo Y20A consist of an 8MP sensor. Whereas, the 8MP sensor is a part of the Realme C15 front camera.
Another difference point is seen in the batteries of the phone. Y20A is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 10W charging. Compared to, Realme C15’s 6,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.
Both the devices feature a fingerprint sensor on the back. They also support face unlock technology. Both Realme C15 and Vivo Y20A still hold the older micro USB port for charging and data transfer.
